Toileting
When children start Nursery, we expect children to be potty trained. Children should be able to use the toilet in time for when they start unless a medical or an additional need. If you need support in potty training your child members of staff in nursery will be able to support you.
We advise you not to put children in nappies as that confuses them. Be consistent !
Send in lots of spare pants and trousers in case they do have an accident.
Toilet advice for children with additional needs:
Almost all children can learn how to keep clean and dry. Some children may just take a little longer. But putting off potty training and keeping your child in a nappy may take longer.
